After buying a new house last year and having to quickly come up with a drawer and shelf liner solution, I pulled my hair out searching for that perfect paper that was cute and up-to-date. Surely, I thought, someone has come up with a better solution than your run of the mill gridded baby blue! Alas, nothing that I could find really suited the situation, so I settled for flat sheets of mod and clean looking floral wrapping paper that I cut to proportion. Country Living provides a fabulous example of how easy it is to overhaul a dated dresser… into something modern and chic! Here’s a fabulous and basic recipe to help with your next dinner party. I’m personally not a huge fan of the jarred, store-bought tomato sauce but have been known to use it again and again out of sheer necessity and time constraints. If, and when I do, I like to jazz it up a bit by adding cooked garlic, herbs from the yard or sauteed veggies that might to a swell job masking the canned version.
