What’s a good excuse for an afternoon coffee break? A new design magazine on the scene! Rue launched it’s first online issue today and it’s well worth a good look {and a few cups of coffee}. Enjoy!
Guest Posting Over at Brooklyn Limestone
Today I’m over at one of my favorite blogs sharing a little guest post on a recent diy project. Come check out a bathroom makeover/update for our 1930’s Spanish home that we finished for just under a $100. See you over there!
Favorite Trend: Botanical Prints
There’s something so simple and lovely about vintage nature prints. Whether in a collage or by it’s lonesome, a single floral stem or a blue jay framed is a classic and timeliness art addition for the home {a home of almost any style!}. Here are a few of my favorite rooms…
A wall full of illustrations can be an easy project; collect a set of matching frames (Ikea & Target have a great selection) and an old botany book or a few Etsy purchases for matting.
A few great resources for images include: PATCH NYC’s line at West Elm, Art.com, Etsy artists Trampoline & Gennine (among many others), and free downloads from Vintage Printable.
How beautiful is this wallpaper? I don’t know if I’m bold enough to cover my entire bathroom in botanical but it sure looks lovely in Lonny Magazine.
