I’m so excited to share today’s giveaway! I first discovered Anna of Ethos Design on Young House Love a while back – and I’ve been a follower of her blog ever since.
Anna is a talented interior designer from North Queensland, Australia, and Ethos Design is her brainchild for virtually helping homeowners all over the world with their design aesthetics, room layouts and furniture/accessory choices (also known as e-decorating). Today’s giveaway features a Room Refresh Design Kit (full of wonderfully helpful customized ideas for updating any room of your choosing) valued at $249.

When Anna reached out to me about hosting a giveaway as well as offering refresh suggestions for a room of in my home, I was happy to virtually hand over the reigns for a space that has been slow to evolve – the office and guestroom! – and was excited to see what her ideas were. When she shared my finished Design Kit, I couldn’t wait to pass on the same offer as giveaway here.

The process begins with a questionnaire that first establishes the space, inspiration, favorite designers, color palettes and so on. (It’s a very insightful way to approach a room and I knew Anna and I were on the same page when many of her inspirational images for the space were images that I had also pinned to my Pinterest board – I was loving where she was going with the design.)
Anna used the questionnaire, photos from the blog and measurements that I sent her way to develop a thorough plan for how she saw the office and guestroom evolving.
She made helpful suggestions on changing up pieces of the room layout (read through the full kit to see thoughts on switching out the current nightstand for sconces and a homemade behind-the-bedframe version), color palette (note that bright pop of coral!) and on what fabrics, artwork and furniture pieces she thought would look best added to the room. I have my own finished idea in mind, so I loved getting a second opinion and I am definitely incorporating many of these ideas!
Finally, the design kit includes a full shopping list that meets your budgetary needs making the design super easy to execute for the homeowner (or as a great list of guidelines on what to look out for).

What a great giveaway! How do I choose just one room that needs help?? I’d say probably either my living room or our master bedroom is what I’d choose.
I have been struggling with the layout and design of my main living space since we’ve moved in last August. It’s a beautiful room but tricky as it’s our entertaining space, main child playspace and tv room all in 1. Please Help!!!

We are buying a new home where the previous owners painted the Master Bedroom (all of the walls!!!!) Candy Apple Red, I need help to get my earthy feel back into it.

I would use the kit on my living and dining room. We’ve lived in this house almost five years and it still looks like we just moved in!!
It would be a dream to have a new plan for the room we’re in all the time-our family room. It’s where the kids play, where we enjoy movies together, & where we relax. This would be very special:)

First of all, I love your blog…thank you for sharing with us.
I am re-freshening a lot of my rooms because my youngest of 5 just started first grade this year & it seems like EVERYTHING needs a freshen-up {now that my kids are old enough to take care of any new stuff} of course, I am always freshening up, who am I kidding? I just can’t help it…hehe. If I had to pick just a room, it would definitely be my kitchen/family room. I would like to lighten it up. Call it spring fever but I have been so attracted to lighter, brighter rooms lately. Warm colors are cozy but cool colors make me smile.

We’re moving into a new house in a month, so I would love to use this design service for our bedroom. Our new bedroom is smaller and has less closet space than our current bedroom, so it’s going to be a big challenge!
I definitely need help reconfiguring our family room/kitchen. It’s a small room with two entrances and a french door going out back so it’s really difficult to place furniture. I’d just love a set of fresh eyes to give me some ideas.
Our bedroom needs a makeover because it feels empty. Its new construction and we have a bed, and chest with a couple end tables that dont match.. No curtains and plain shades that cover the windows. We would love input and direction from ethos!
Well, we’re in the process of buying a house, so I don’t want to revamp anything where we currently live. But there is one room that I just have no idea what to do with it in the house we’re moving into. The new house is so much bigger than our current space, I have ideas what to do with some of it but the rest I’m just lost on!

I’m ready to refresh our family room.
