Happy Thursday! Day 4 here of the 2nd Blogiversary week and I have a wonderful giveaway lined up from three of my favorite home goods stores: Room & Board, The Company Store and Rifle Paper Co. I LOVE each of these stores and I’m excited to partner with these companies to share a few of my favorite products with a reader!
The line up is…
First up is a Pendleton blanket from Room & Board. I cannot think of a better winter accessory for your living room (or the foot of your bed) than this cozy, wool blanket.
The throw looks beautiful slung over a couch (as Country Living demonstrates below) or rolled up in a large basket next to the fireplace (just waiting for a cool winter’s night and some snuggling time).
Room & Board is a 30 year old, family-based design retailer headquartered in Minneapolis with 11 stores nationwide (3 on the West Coast). The brand consists of over 90% handcrafted, American-made product and their focus in on providing customers with quality crafted, simple, classic designs at an affordable price. The Pendleton blanket is sustainably made and manufactured in the Pacific Northwest! Read more about the labor of love (and the quality of this cozy accessory) here. I love that Room & Board partners with US-based artists and makes every effort to manufacture and produce locally.
Given the option, I would choose this one with its soft greys and subtle red stripe. This is winter in a blanket:
Next up is a $50 gift certificate to The Company Store! I fell in love with their jute rugs a while back and we have their jersey knit bedding in our master bedroom. I love this store and their wonderful prices.
Our jute rug looked great in our previous kitchen and our bedding is fantastic, I cannot recommend it enough! It is so, so soft and if you have a pet that likes to snuggle at the foot of your bed it doesn’t hold onto hair like a traditional jersey duvet cover might (is that awkward to post? This is a huge bonus for us though ;)).
This is so awesome: The Company Store has committed to donating $20,000 worth of pajamas to Pajama Project, a not-for-profit organization that provides new, warm pajamas and books to children in need throughout the U.S., once it reaches 20,000 website pledges! So sign-up to celebrate Family Pajama Night in your home with a fall slumber party on November 19! We’ll definitely be participating.
And last but certainly not least is one of my very favorite paper companies, Rifle Paper Co. The illustrations and designs are beautiful! Very much my style.
I have their 2012 botanical calendar and while most months will be hanging in the office, June and August are now framed and hanging in our kitchen :). And the cover of the calendar is hanging in this office wall collage. Today’s giveaway includes the same 2012 botanical calendar to do with what you please.
And that’s today’s line up! So excited for the giveaway.

I like Rifle Paper Co on FB. (And such a coincidence because I was just admiring that same calendar tonight!)
Thanks for the great giveaway! I think I tuned into your blog about a year ago, and I’m hooked. :) My style is wannabe Anthropologie.
Awesome giveaway! I don’t remember when I first started coming over to your blog. At least a year. My style is more casual and contemporary, with a nod to the past.
I just found you a few months ago when we got our new house. My personal style is very simple — not too traditional, not too modern — but since our house is Spanish Colonial, we’re trying to work with that!
I would say I’ve been reading your blog for about 1.5 – 2 years… Yours was one of the first ones I came across when I entered the interior design blogging frenzy. I’ve only recently started commenting though.. My design style is a mix of a bunch of things. I like simple furniture, rustic woods, industrial details, and a touch of funky. Great giveaway!
Wow, what fantastic giveaways! I’ve been tuning in for about 6-8 months now and loving the mix of posts! I’d say my style is somewhat vintage, somewhat bohemian and a lot of DIY. :)
I’ve been reading for a little over a year. And my style is a mix of modern masculine with an eclectic bent.
At LEAST a year – maybe 2…? My style is cleaned up casual…
I think I’ve been following for 1-1.5 years now. It’s one of the few that I get in my inbox instead of just through Google Reader.
While I love modern, my style is more clean contemporary with a mix of eclectic details.
I have enjoyed your blog for about 2 months now. My style is eclectic.
I think it’s been about 2 years. My design style is definitely clean lines mixed with a little traditional.
I just found your blog within the past month, but I really enjoy it. My design style is modern/contemporary.

Thanks for another great giveaway!!! I’m not sure when I started reading your blog, but it’s been awhile. (I can’t remember how old I am without figuring it out by the year I was born….) Anyway, my design desire is french country, but my reality is a little of this and a little of that. Some day! :)
Oh, and today is my birthday- hmmm, let’s see, born in….
I love your blog! I’ve subscribed for about a year now.
Hi! I’ve been reading for awhile. I followed you all during your pregnancy, so I guess over a year now. I really enjoy your blog!
As for my style, I would say modern chic. :)
Hi! I have been reading your blog for about a year now. I discovered it through “russet street reno”‘s blog roll! My style is classic with a touch of nautical. Thank you!

I wish I had found you sooner. I have only just begun reading your postings.

im a fan of rifle paper co on facebook!
I started following your awesome blog since early 2010….my style is a mix of all :) its fun mixing the styles to see how they all go together!
I’ve been tuning in for about a year and still love reading what you post about. I’m not sure what my style is. It is still evolving it seems. But I love my furniture to be simple and functional and then I like to add individual touches. For example my husband loves film so we have an old style movie poster frame on the wall. The frame is attached to the wall and the sides swing open so we can easily change the poster from Charlie Chaplin to Star Wars. Or adding special drawings and artwork friends have given our daughters for in their room.
Oh my goodness, what a fabulous giveaways!! Hmmm…I think its been a little over a year since I started reading your blog. My design style is a bit a cottage with some traditional thrown in.
I think I began following around May or June of this year! I’ve loved it! My design style is still evolving – I’m a poor college student (with very little space to decorate!) but I love the a little rustic mixed with modern!
What a fantastic giveaway! I think I started following a few months ago. I’d say my style of decorating is traditional/vintage.
I follow the company store on fb
I’d say it’s been about a year that I have been following you. My design style is spanish revival. In fact thats how I found your blog….I was looking for spanish ideas for my house and came across yours and have been reading ever since!!
Now following Rifle on FB!
I can’t remember how long I’ve been reading! Probably less than a year, but I’m glad I found you. I would say a mix between modern and shabby chic is my style.
I started following your blog a few months ago! My style is mainly modern!
Well I can’t remember exactly when I started tuning in… but it has been somewhere between 1-1.5 years. My design style is a mix between cottage, farmhouse, and coastal.
