I was out and about searching for Thanksgiving inspiration when I came across this beautiful rustic wedding at one of my favorite blogs, Style Me Pretty. Jessica Claire, a fantastic artist and photographer in her own right, married in Napa Valley and shared her wedding inspiration through the eyes of photographer Jose Villa. Check out their blogs for a little {swooning} over pure photography bliss.
Gorgeous wedding aside, this would make a LOVELY Thanksgiving tablescape! From the rich colors to the vintage appeal and outdoor ambiance — I’m picturing what random vases I might have around to copy this beautiful look.
Simple floral centerpieces, thrift store vases and containers, a single statement runner in lieu of a tablecloth, and just a hint of glam in sparkly gold chargers all contribute to a cozy but festive tablescape.
Casual tall branches poke out of an unassuming vase and become the focal point for a buffet or kitchen table arrangement. A hodge podge of fresh flowers from your local farmers market contribute color, but there’s no need to stick to a style or shade — buy what’s fresh and in season.
More great centerpiece photos and DIY ideas after the jump!
I love this buffet table and can picture it stacked high with Thanksgiving trimmings. Small favors remind your guests how thankful you are for them — let family and friends take home their own mini arrangement from the table collection at the end of the night.
Candles scattered throughout your tablescape give the feeling of intimacy, and incorporating various textures such as branches, grains, a burlap runner and the rough feel of your uncovered wood table keep the formal event cozy.
Metal teapots, clay urns and old tins all bode well for the centerpiece, vintage heirlooms like these pocket watches add to the rustic feel. What a beautiful Thanksgiving this would be!
Exquisite!
What inspiration! I love this time of year!!
Love the rustic feel, gold accents and those deep red dahlias!
